Hockey Playing Career

• 1953 started visiting Southgate Hockey Club from birth as my father played there and I joined as a player aged 15 and am still playing Over 60s
• Played socially for several other clubs – Pistons, Llamas, Handbags, Alliance – usually taking on various administrative roles
• Toured for 46 years to the 6 Nations International Veterans Tournament, held annually in each country. Have organised many International hockey tournaments and their social events.

Hockey administration roles

• Committee member of Southgate HC from 1971, Chairman (1988-89 and 1995-97) and President (2011-2018)
• 1979 Secretary of the Hockey Association International Teams Committee
• 1982-86 Planning for the 1986 World Cup as Director of World Hockey Cup (London) Ltd
• 1987-89 Secretary of the National Hockey Centre Development Committee
• 1988 Official of British Olympic Association at the Seoul Olympics
• 2012-18 President of Pistons Summer Hockey Club
• 2013-15 Independent Artificial Pitch Consultant on the FIH Equipment Panel
• Currently President of WGMA, Chair of the Hockey Museum and a Committee member of Alliance HC

• International travel with family, yoga, rare breed animals
