Played for Isca in 1962 before joining Guildford the following year.
After a spell in Trinidad (1964-65) returned to Guildford and toured with the Angels before moving to St Albans in 1970.
Has represented Sussex, Hertfordshire and Surrey A.
Joined LX Club in 2000 and played for England Grand Masters at Edinburgh and Athens in 2004.
Subsequently played for the LX Red side in WGMA events at Rotterdam (2005), Bra and Leverkusen (2006), Canterbury (2007) and Barcelona (2008). Returned to the England national side at 65+ winning the European Cup at Amstelveen (2009) and Neuss (2011) and the World Cup at Cape Town (2010). Followed this with European success at 70+ at Kontich (2013) and the World Cup at The Hague (2014)
Former President of St Albans HC and serves on the LX Club management committee as editor of the LXer magazine.
Elected Hon Secretary of WGMA in Hong Kong 2008.
