England’s men win the first European Cup at Over 75

England and Netherlands contested the first Over 75 Grand Masters Hockey European Cup over two matches on 23rd and 25th August at Southgate HC. England became the European champions at this age group with a 4-0 aggregate after winning 3-0 and 1-0.

Australia are the current world champions at Over 75 and will defend their title at the Grand Masters Hockey World Cup in Newcastle in 2016. As neither England nor Netherlands have as yet entered a team Australia may retain the world championship unchallenged by European opposition.
