Competition Results

Over 75

England Over 75s won the second leg of the two game format against Netherlands 1-0 to win the inaugural Over 75s European Cup 4-0 on aggregate.

Over 60

The top teams in each pool had a rest day

Pool 1

Germany beat Wales 1-0 to put them in second place and Scotland beat France 2-0 to move into 3rd place Scotland could edge out Germany if they beat Wales and Germany lost to Netherlands tomorrow.

Pool 2

Belgium and Spain drew 1-1 so Spain maintain the 3 point cushion over Belgium in 2nd place with a goal difference seven better. Ireland opened their account with a massive 15-0 win against Italy.

Over 65

In the third games in the Over 65s England beat Belgium 7-0, Germany beat Wales 4-2 to maintain their 100% records and Netherlands beat Italy 4-0 to stay three points behind the leaders in the round robin competition.

Over 70

The final pool games resulted in an 8-0 win for England over Scotland and Germany beat Netherlands 1-0, so they finished tied on four points in 2nd and 3rd. They meet again in the first semi final tomorrow, whilst England play Scotland again in the other semi final.

Rest day
Today, LX Red play Southern Cross whilst LX White play Netherlands in today’s semi finals.
In the classification games Alliance play Germany and Welsh Dragons play Scottish Thistles

TT Over 65

The top two teams met and LX Red beat Netherlands A 1-0, opening up a three point lead at the top, Southern Cross beat Netherlands B 3-0 to join Netherlands on six points, three points behind LX Red. 

LX White beat Alliance 2-1 to move up to 4th two points further behind.

TT Over 70

LX and Netherlands fought out a 2-2 draw. So tomorrow’s semi finals are Southern Cross v Netherlands and LX play Alliance
