In the first game of GM Men 60+, Japan succeeded to gain a 3-0 lead in the first half with quick counter attacks, enabling them to gain their first victory in the international games.

Kim Nong Hyun of Korea 60+ team, at age 69 the oldest among all the players, made a fine goal from the left wing position.

There was a big welcome party on the evening of the 13th at Lodge Maishima with 115 participants including 49 Koreans and 66 Japanese.

Mr. Takashi Shimomura, Chairman of JGMA, welcomed Korean players and supporters and Mr. Baek Jong Soo, Chairman of Korea Hockey Federation Sport for All, thanked Japan for the warm welcome. Both members promised to continue this friendly event in the future with our slogan "Durable Friendship".
